Questions dog parents ask
How does a Freezbone work?
Fill it with something soft, freeze it for 2–3 hours, hand it over. Your dog licks and chews to get the food out, which keeps them busy and calm. Rinse and refill as often as you like.
How long does one fill keep my dog busy?
Most dogs work on a frozen fill for 30 minutes to a couple of hours. Colder, fuller fills last longer. Wet food and yogurt last longer than broth alone.
What can I put in it?
Anything soft or pourable that's safe for dogs: wet food, plain yogurt, mashed banana, pumpkin, bone broth, xylitol-free peanut butter, or our treat refills. No grapes, onions, chocolate or anything with xylitol.
Which size is right for my dog?
Go by weight: L up to 140 lb, XL up to 140+ lb. Between sizes? Pick the bigger one — it lasts longer and is safer.
Is it safe for heavy chewers, and can I leave my dog alone with it?
It's made from tough natural rubber with no shards or splinters. But no toy is indestructible. Stay nearby, check it before each use, and take it away if it cracks or pieces go missing.
What is it made of?
Natural rubber, free of BPA and phthalates. It's the same material class as other leading tough chew toys, and it's safe in the freezer and the dishwasher.
How do I clean it?
Rinse under warm water or put it in the top rack of the dishwasher. It's ready to refill right away.
Is it good for puppies and senior dogs?
Yes. Let the frozen fill soften for a few minutes first if your dog is a puppy, a senior, or has sensitive teeth. Start with a softer filling like yogurt.

The dog’s love getting their meals or fun, enrichment treats in their Freezbones. It’s been especially helpful with the extreme heat we’ve been experiencing because it’s keeps the dog’s entertained and gives them mental enrichment while they’re stuck in the house. I’ve also had a ton of fun playing with different recipe ideas.
I love all of my freezbone products. They hold up to one of my dogs chewing them everytime he gets a frozen freezbone. My dogs know a treat is coming when I open the freezer to get them out. I keep ordering new styles in these and am never disappointed.
I love all of my freezbone products. I have almost every one for my two dogs. It is a great enrichment for them everyday and I fill them with things like yogurt, mashed banana/sweet potato, and puréed pumpkin. My male dog chews on his to
try and get the frozen stuff out faster and they are very durable and have shown no signs of wearing down with his chewing after multiple uses. I will continue to order these as new styles come out!
These are so much fun ! Thank you Rosan dogs (chows) for making sure I knew about these! Harry & Eddie are having a blast with the different freezbone options!
I’ve had Freezbone on my radar for a while, I wish I’d bought them sooner! The FreezHeart is my favorite, it’s cute and it’s easy to fill. The quality is amazing, best I’ve tried for my dog so far. Super easy to clean, super durable. I’ll be purchasing more soon and I’d highly recommend them to all dog parents!
I love the large capacity of this toy, it's super easy to use for my dog's meals. Super durable-- no rips, tears, or missing pieces so far. Easy to fill and freeze quickly, my only "area for improvement," would be I wish it took my dog longer to get through it, but he seems to go through all his frozen enrichment toys in minutes. Otherwise, I love this one!
The freeze heart bone just barely fit my dogs 2 cups worth of large breed kibble mixed with some yogurt and water. I love that these are easier for my dogs to use than kongs are, because I can give them their whole meal and feel confident that they got it all. They're also less messy to use both in freezing and in my dog using it, and easier to clean. Took my 116 lb dog about 40 minutes or so to finish his fully filled heart shape. He was a happy boy.
My girl Izzie loves eating her dinner or a special treat out of her Freezbone. I was skeptical it was actually going to keep her busy, but each time it's taken her at least 30 minutes to finish it!
We love this freezbone heart! I use it almost every day for my dog who eats way too fast, in order to slow her down. It works super well and holds up well to her puppy razor teeth! We have 2 cups, the bone, and this heart one, and we love them all!
My dog loves these things! I have to make sure he doesn’t see me making them unless I have one in the freezer ready to give him. The freeze heart is very cute and he enjoys it!
I got PD at Valentine’s Day and this is perfect for him. I love that I can fill it with a variety of foods and then freeze it and give it to him when he’s going to be in the kennel for a long time. It doesn’t make a mess either.
I love that this is heavier and so well made! I have other "freeze bowls" and they work fine but the quality definitely is not there! After a month, one of my dogs had already put some tears in it. Not happening with Freeze Bone! Great product!!!
This Freezebone is easy to fill and clean. My dog loves it. The best part is that after he is done licking the treat I don't have to rush to get the container from him. The Freezebone is durable and he loves playing with it afterwards.
Love the size and how much food it holds. I did not consider the dog taking frozen sheets of food out after it thaws enough and make a mess all over. My bad. Nothing that is defective of the product however.
It holds a lot of food and is easy to fill. However, it is not very durable since the sides began tearing after about two weeks. Not the best option for an aggressive chewer, but seems to be great if the dog just wants to lick the contents.
