Congratulations ā there is now a tiny land-shark living in your house, and you love them more than anything. You don't need 47 things. You need three. Here they are.
Something Cold for the Shark Weeks
Your puppy's 28 baby teeth are leaving. 42 adult teeth are arriving. That hurts. Frozen rubber soothes gums, numbs the itch, and buys you peace. The FreezBall was built for exactly this.
Honest note: consistent redirection training is still needed. The toy helps ā you still lead.
A Reason to Love the Crate
The frozen treat-loaded FreezBone Classic appears only inside the crate. Puppies learn: crate = good stuff happens. It provides 15ā25 minutes of calming licking so you can breathe.
Your First-Week Crate Script
Day 1ā2Short, happy trips in. Toss the frozen FreezBone in. Let them lick. Out before they fuss.
Day 3ā4Add a few minutes. Calm praise only. Let the FreezBone do the heavy lifting.
Day 5ā6Build up to 10ā15 minutes. Start layering in small life noises.
Day 7Try 15ā25 minutes. You've got a calmer, crate-happy puppy.
If your puppy cries at any stage, drop back one step. Slow is fast with crates.
A Routine That Runs Itself
Prep three toys at night. Run your day on autopilot.
Morning Ā· 7:00 ā 9:00
Potty, breakfast, 10 minutes of play
Follow with a frozen FreezBall to soothe gums and reset.
Midday Ā· 12:00 ā 2:00
Potty, sniffy walk or training game
Then the FreezBone in the crate for a calm, independent nap.
Evening Ā· 6:00 ā 8:00
Dinner, family time, last play burst
Wrap up with a frozen FreezPaw to unwind for bedtime.
Cold for the teeth, jackpot for the crate, rhythm for the day. Everything else is decoration.

Yes. Freezbone is made from food-grade, puppy-safe materials and is designed for supervised and unsupervised enrichment sessions.
How long does one Freezbone last?
A frozen Freezbone typically keeps a dog engaged for 20ā40 minutes, and the bone itself lasts for months of refills.
Can I use it while my dog is home alone?
Many apartment owners do. We recommend a few supervised sessions first so you know how your dog interacts with it.
How often should I give it to my dog?
The 30-minute framework works best daily: 10 minutes in the morning, midday, and evening.
What size Freezbone is right for my dog?
It depends less on your dog's size and more on how they chew ā and the shape of their face.
Super power chewers (the ones who destroy everything): go for the FreezStick, Freezbox, FreezCone. These were built thicker and tougher specifically for serious jaws.
Flat-nosed breeds (Frenchies, Pugs, Bulldogs, Boxers, Shih Tzus): the FreezSwirl, Freez Doughnut, or FreezStar are your go-tos. Their open, easy-to-grab shapes let a short muzzle actually get a grip and lick comfortably.

My recently adopted 40 lb. pittie mix loves her FreezSwirl. She just began heartworm treatment, so keeping her calm is very important, which is not easy with a young bully breed. The FreezBone products keep her occupied and mellow for at least 30 minutes at a time. And, they hold up extremely well to her chewing attempts. They're easy to fill and easy to clean, too. I highly recommend!
Our dog loves these frozen treats. They usually keep the dog busy for 45 minutes. We have 6 dishes/ trays. They all work well & surprisingly aren't very messy. I do recommend.
The whole side of my kitchen cabinet is just full to the brim with bags of treats for him because of the amazing prices and amazing quality of the treats, I love that most of the treats are just 1 ingredient, or very few ingredients so I always know what my dog is eating!
Our Border Collie Bandit LOVES his freezies! We love the Freezbone Freezball. I always have them ready in the freezer and Bandit enjoys one everyday. We started with the medium size when he was a puppy and just graduated to the large as he is now 14 months. I'll still use both: small snack and larger snack :-) They are durable and hold up to him carrying to his bed and chewing. I use canned salmon, pureed pumpkin, low fat cottage cheese, frozen peas, carrots, sliced strawberries, blueberries, plain greek yogurt and sugar free applesauce in them. He loves them. Anytime I ask if he wants a "freezie" he runs to the freezer and sits for one :-)
So many products claim that they will last and that they are indestructible. This is the first product that I have found that last about 30 minutes, the container doesnāt have chew marks all over it within one use , my dog loves it, oh and it doesnāt make a mess!
My new puppy loves her Freezbone! I purchased the purple kitty heart because it was the perfect size for her first Freezbone. I freeze her kibble mixed with broth in there, and she gobbles it up!
Miller loves his frozen treats! Having the bundle helps me keep ahead of the game by having several in the freezer at a time. Keeps my growing boy busy and happy ā¤ļø
Teddy was getting through cup shaped freezer meals in 20 minutes. He uses his huge jaws to power through and dislodge it. All the grooves in this took him 45 minutes!
This is Honey. Sheās an 8-month-old Golden puppy, and if you know anything about Goldens, youāll know sheās a high-stage clinger. Sheās what we call a āvelcro baby.ā Sheās currently working on a mix of treats in that Freezball. Weāre half an hour in and sheās got no intention of quitting anytime soon - which means weāre getting some space to get stuff done this evening. I love the Freezball and so does she!
Where has this been? I wish this had been around years ago! Truly, best low frustration lick for frozen or room temp filling (for those dogs who are beginners, like puppies). Fantastic lick mat for smearing peanut butter in the bottom of the swirl pattern with your finger so a TBS of peanutbutter can go a long way while dremeling nails.
She is not a fan of lickmats with the bumps or twisty raised patterns. I found a metal lickmat she likes buy it is not as easy to wash as this.
I will need to order more of this style, since she also likes some dry kibble sprinkled in it and in her snuffle mat. This swirl is pulling quadruple duty here and going into the freezer 3x a day.
Can I say how much I love that it freezes so fast??
Jude LOVES his FreezBones! Iāve used kibble, bone broth and a dog bone, and peanut butter and bananas, and bananas and blueberries. I give him one when we return from our afternoon walk/hike and he really enjoys them.
My boy loves his jumbo Freezbone! Iāve been filling it with a mix of banana slices, watermelon chunks, and watered down applesauce ā super refreshing on a warm day. But he was also a big fan of shredded chicken and bone broth. This toy is large enough to keep him entertained for a while š
I bought these because the description said they were tough. My dog had this destroyed in 5 min. Itās not thick enough for Pits. I am really disappointed! The other one looks similar.
Thanks!
The dogās love getting their meals or fun, enrichment treats in their Freezbones. Itās been especially helpful with the extreme heat weāve been experiencing because itās keeps the dogās entertained and gives them mental enrichment while theyāre stuck in the house. Iāve also had a ton of fun playing with different recipe ideas.
Both our pups love these! It's especially useful to preoccupy our puppy that does not know what to do with all her energy! Can't wait to buy more shapes and sizes for them to enjoy!
My dogs love their Freezbone treats. They get super excited when they see me getting them out of the freezer. I love the swirl design because it takes them both 20-30 minutes to finish the pumpkin/yogurt mix I put in them!
We liked them so much ( and the dog loves them) I ordered a second coil that just came today. Durable, easy to clean, I use his own food, about 1/2 a meal combined with a few frozen blueberries, a small carrot, a little pumpkin and peanut butter. Sometimes I put a little bone broth in the water we put in before freezing. Our dog races to his crate to eat the treat!!
This is my favorite Freezbone design and it takes my dogs 15-20 minutes to finish the lickable treat. They love when they see me getting them a freezbone out of the freezer everyday. It doesnāt take a whole lot to fill up this specific style but because of the design it takes the dogs some time to finish it. 10/10 recommend!
