Start with the food they already love, their usual wet food or a Lickable Cat Paste Stick. For the first try, serve it unfrozen or let it soften for a few minutes so the first licks come easily. Once your cat knows food lives in there, move on to fully frozen.
Licking food out of grooves takes much longer than eating from a bowl, so a slow feeder like the FreezWhisk or FreezDrip slows mealtime right down. If the vomiting carries on, check with your vet.
A filled, frozen toy gives your cat a job: licking, pawing and working the food out, for up to 45 minutes per fill. It pairs well with a play session before you leave the house or before bed.
